Johnny L. Cash

Judge
Johnny Lee Cash was born in December, 1958, to Hillard and Oneta
Cash of Cowpens, South Carolina. He was the middle child,
with two sisters, June and Jenny.
Judge
Cash graduated from Broome High School in 1977. During his
high school years through 1980, he worked for AAA Farms of
Cowpens, South Carolina. In 1980, he began work with R.R.
Donnelley and Sons. There, he completed his apprenticeship
and received his certification as a Building Equipment Operator.
He retired from R.R. Donnelley and Sons in 2001, after twenty
years of service.
In
1987, Judge Cash began working part time with Spartanburg County
as a county constable. In 1998, he was appointed to serve as
a part time magistrate for Spartanburg County. In February,
2001, Judge Cash was appointed a full time magistrate to serve in
the Traffic Court of the Spartanburg Magistrate Court.
Judge
Cash passed his magistrate's certification exam in 1998, and is a
lifetime member of the South Carolina Summary Court Judges
Association. Judge Cash is married with one child and
resides with his family in Spartanburg County. He attends
Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Cowpens, South Carolina. In his
free time, he enjoys fox hunting and horseback riding.
